The problem with being a perfectionist is that every time I’d make a proof revision, there would be about fifty other things I wanted to change. So my enthusiasm for the final copy is a bit muted even though I worked super-hard on it. I’m actually quite proud of it and think it will be a great help to students. I fear if I waited until it was “done” that it would never come out. So I tell the perfectionist voice in my head that all those changes will come in the second version which is already taking form.
