So… long story short is that I’m not going back to Gameloft. Looks like I can hire out my services to any progressive company that will have me.
If you are looking for a designer/producer/TF2 spy, here’s my card:
No, really, that’s my card. If you see me in person, I’ll dig one out of my wallet for you.
Meanwhile, I’ve got a lot of time to work on my prototypes and writing! Door closing, window opening, cliches inflating.

Hi,
Funny, I left Gameloft a couple of months ago (I was working in the HQ), and I never looked back.
Good luck.
Phil
God bless you.
Do you get the Heads Up creative newsletter thing? A friend of mine signed me up for it a while ago, I find myself constantly forwarding it to my jobseeking friends. The NYC opportunities aren’t entirely plentiful but they pop up occasionally. Usually it’s Gameloft’s everpresent listing for a 2D Pixel Sprite artist but there are other things too – http://www.creativeheads.net/
There’s also nycgameindustry.com’s job site but there’s not much on it right now. :/
I made my girlfriend (A Lead QA Analyst) a pixelated Duck Hunt bizcard
She loves it. Props for the 8-bit printwork.
